La Art Directors Guild ha rivelato i nominati per il suo 30º Annual Excellence in Production Design Awards, che includono i 78ª Tony Awards Annuali, Wicked: For Good, e lo speciale NBC Wicked: One Wonderful Night. Date un'occhiata alla lista completa delle nomination qui sotto.
I premi annuali celebrano l'eccellenza nel design di produzione attraverso lungometraggi teatrali, televisione, spot pubblicitari, video musicali e film d'animazione. La cerimonia si terrà il 28 febbraio 2026, presso l’InterContinental Los Angeles Downtown.
Altri nomi di rilievo includono Hamnet, che racconta la storia di William (Paul Mescal) e Agnes (Jessie Buckley) Shakespeare durante il XVI secolo, insieme al loro amato figlio Hamnet. Nel mondo della televisione, episodi di The Gilded Age, Only Murders in the Building, e Mid-Century Modern sono stati riconosciuti per il loro design di produzione. Tutti questi show vanno in scena con talenti di Broadway di rilievo.
“Mentre commemoriamo il 30º anniversario degli Excellence in Production Design Awards, celebriamo non solo i successi eccezionali dell’ultimo anno, ma anche tre decenni di arte visionaria che hanno definito il racconto visivo del cinema e della televisione,” ha detto Dina Lipton, Presidente della Art Directors Guild. “Questa tappa importante onora gli Art Directors, gli Illustratori, gli Artisti di Storyboard, i Set Designers, gli Artisti Scenici e Grafici e tutte le menti creative che lavorano nel reparto artistico e che continuano a catturare e ispirare il pubblico worldwide.”
I premi alla carriera verranno assegnati a Bo Welch (Production Designer, regista), Jann Engel (Set Designer, Art Director), Tom Southwell (Illustratore, Storyboard Artist, Production Designer), e Stephen McNally (Scenic Artist), in riconoscimento dei loro eccezionali contributi e per l’impatto duraturo sulle loro rispettive discipline.
