In the Diving Bell presents a speculative narrative centered on a Black clown navigating a journey of survival and repair during the Middle Passage. This solo performance combines elements of mime, movement, and visual art, immersing audiences in a deep sea salvage operation to recover lost histories. Created and performed by Mosa McNeilly, the production includes contributions from notable collaborators such as Diane Roberts and Honor Ford-Smith. Set within the intimate A Space Gallery, this interdisciplinary work draws from African and Caribbean cultural memory.
