Murder At Mosquito Cove: The murder of Elfreda Pike, 1870. at Alumnae Theatre

It is said that disturbed spirits with an unjust action foisted against them can’t achieve their eternal rest until the truth has been told. 

16-year-old Elfreda Pike's body was discovered on January 6th 1870 on Featherbed Road behind a blood-soaked boulder, her clothes torn from the waist down and disfigured.

Horror spreads through the communities of Mosquito Cove and nearby Harbour Grace; with an invasive, police investigation probing into the lives of the townsfolk.

Was it Thomas Pike [no relation], Elfreda’s beau? Elfreda’s brother-in-law Ray Thomey who shortly before his marriage to Elfreda’s sister Harriet was caught kissing Elfreda in the stable loft? Or a mysterious man in a long black coat seen walking Featherbed Road with Elfreda shortly before she was killed?

It will take 50 years before the true murderer is discovered.
