The Shaw Festival has released its 2025 season report, detailing financial results, attendance, and new board appointments. The company reported a surplus alongside $39.5 million in revenue and record donor contributions.
The Shaw Festival welcomes the Canadian premiere of Will Eno’s Gnit**, a surreal, darkly funny, and unexpectedly moving contemporary reimagining of Henrik Ibsen’s Peer Gynt. Directed by Shaw Artistic Director Tim Carroll, the production begins previews June 19 and opens for review July 4, running through October 4 at the Jackie Maxwell Studio Theatre.
Major Barbara, Shaw's timeless morality epic, returns to the Shaw Festival. Director Peter Hinton-Davis takes on the three-act social satire that pits charity against affluence, family against commerce, and religion head-to-head with politics.
The Spiegeltent will return to the Shaw Festival grounds for one last summer. Brought over from Belgium by The Shaw in 2023, the Spiegeltent has since become the Festival’s home for distinctive and one-of-a-kind entertainment. Learn more!
