Based on the classic novel by L. M. Montgomery, Canada's beloved musical celebrates its 50th anniversary after headlining the Charlottetown Festival every summer since 1965. When Matthew and Marilla Cuthbert set out to adopt an orphan boy to help them with the farm work at Green Gables, little did they know that their lives would be turned upside down for the better with the arrival of plucky and free-spirited Anne Shirley. The joy and warmth of Anne of Green Gables will capture the hearts and spirits of audiences young and old.
