Bryan Cranston won the 2014 Tony Award for Best Performance by an Actor in a Leading Role in a Play for ALL THE WAY. This is Bryan Cranston's first Tony nomination. Cranston began his acting career in local and regional theatres, getting his start at the Granada Theater in the San Fernando Valley. He is best known for portraying Walter White in Breaking Bad from 2008 to 2013, and Hal in Malcolm in the Middle from 2000 to 2006. He won four Emmy Awards and was nominated for five more.
Jenny Tiramani has won the 2014 Tony Award for Best Costume Design of a Play for TWELFTH NIGHT. This is Jenny Tiramani's first Tony nomination and her Broadway debut. Her past work includes the production design for The Big Life on the West End and the production design for Two Gentlemen of Verona Off-Broadway.
Sophie Okonedo has won the 2014 Tony Award for Best Performance by an Actress in a Featured Role in a Play for A RAISIN IN THE SUN. This is Sophie Okonedo's first Tony nomination and her Broadway debut. She starred as Cressida in the National Theatre's Troilus and Cressida (1999). Okonedo was nominated for an Academy Award for Hotel Rwanda in 2004 and a Golden Globe for Tsunami: The Aftermath in 2006.
AFTER MIDNIGHT's Warren Carlyle has won the 2014 Tony Award for Best Choreography. Mr. Carlyle was the choreographer of Chaplin, Hugh Jackman Back on Broadway, Finian's Rainbow (2 Drama Desk noms) and A Tale of Two Cities, choreographer of Follies (Drama Desk nom.), The Mystery of Edwin Drood, and A Christmas Story The Musical (Drama Desk nom.)
