ATCA has named Lauren Gunderson's I and You recipient of the Harold and Mimi Steinberg/ATCA New Play Award, recognizing playwrights for scripts that premiered professionally outside New York City during 2013.

Nominees are Jude Law (Henry V, Noel Coward Theatre), Tom Hiddleston (Coriolanus, Donmar Warehouse), Rory Kinnear (Iago in Othello, National Theatre) and Henry Goodman (Arturo Ui in The Resistible Rise of Arturo Ui, Duchess Theatre).

The Off-Broadway League today announced nominations in 18 categories and one special award for the 2014 Lucille Lortel Awards for Outstanding Achievement Off-Broadway. The Tony Awards Administration Committee met today for the third time this season to determine the eligibility of five Broadway productions for the 2014 American Theatre Wing's Tony Awards®, presented by The Broadway League and the American Theatre Wing. The Tony Awards Administration Committee will meet a total of four times throughout the 2013-2014 season to decide the eligibility for the 68th Annual Tony Awards.

The Tony Awards have announced that the Paramount Hotel will also host the Meet the Nominees Press Reception on Wednesday, April 30th and the 2014 Tony Nominee Luncheon on Tuesday, May 20th. Months of anticipation for hundreds of local high school students is about to reach a fever pitch. On March 18th at 7:00 AM, students from 19 local high schools will gather on the Long Center City Terrace, where officials will announce the nominees for the inaugural Greater Austin High School Musical Theater Awards. Attending students are encouraged to show up on the terrace with signs and plenty of school spirit as they cheer their respective schools on.
