The Boston Theater Critics Association (BTCA) has announced over 25 nominations of actors, directors, designers and ensembles to be presented at 32nd Annual Elliot Norton Awards on Monday May 19 at The Wheelock Family Theatre.

The International Centre for Women Playwrights (ICWP) announces the opportunity to nominate theatres for the prestigious third annual ICWP 50/50 Applause Award. The award honors theatres and artistic directors who produced at least an equal number of female playwrights in ratio to male playwrights during their 2013/14 season.

In celebration of outstanding achievement in high school musical theater performances, Broadway In Chicago is thrilled to announce the twenty-four finalists for the Third Annual Illinois High School Musical Theater Awards. The finalists (12 young actors & 12 young actresses) have been invited to participate in the Awards program, which will be held at the Broadway Playhouse at Water Tower Place (175 E. Chestnut St.) on Friday, April 25, 2014.

Produced in conjunction with Headlong and originally playing at the Almeida (before a successful transfer to the Harold Pinter Theatre), Lucy Kirkwood's intelligent, moving drama tells of the 'tank man' from the historic image of 1976 Tianenmen Square.

The Drama League has announced that Judith Light and Christopher Sieber will announce the 2014 Drama League Awards Nominees for Distinguished Production of a Play, Distinguished Production of a Musical, Distinguished Revival of a Play, Distinguished Revival of a Musical, and the much-coveted Distinguished Performance Award on Wednesday morning, April 23, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. at Sardi's (234 West 44th Street, 2nd Floor).
