Life On My Knees is a comedy by William Missouri Downs, directed by Christine Adams, set to run from September 13 to October 6, 2024, at The Elite Theatre Company. The story follows Dr. Helen Hand, played by Jamie McDonough, who must navigate her new role at a conservative Bible college in Kansas despite her skeptical views and personal struggles. As she attempts to enlighten her fundamentalist students, chaos ensues in a world governed by strict moral codes. The cast also includes Kelly Green as Lloyd Dewey, Adam Hibberd as Dick Nixon, and Emily Vallance as Pearl Fankhouser.
