Cabrillo Music Theatre is proud to announce the newest member of the Cabrillo Family, as Maureen O'Boyle Feldman joins the team to serve as Director of Development. Ms. Feldman will oversee fundraising and sponsorship for Cabrillo Music Theatre, and will report directly to Cabrillo's Board of Directors.

The hiring of Maureen Feldman, is the direct result of Cabrillo Music Theatre's successful fundraising campaign last summer, and will be a key member of the Cabrillo team, working hand in hand with Artistic Director Lewis Wilkenfeld. As the first-ever Director of Development in Cabrillo Music Theatre's long history, Ms. Feldman's impact on Cabrillo can already be felt, and will be in full swing by the time Cabrillo's all-new production of MARY POPPINS opens on April 17th, 2015, at the Kavli Theatre, Thousand Oaks Civic Arts Plaza.

"Maureen Feldman is a real dynamo, and she'll make a great addition to the Cabrillo staff," says Lewis Wilkenfeld, Cabrillo Music Theatre's Artistic Director. "Her background in fundraising and non-profits has already made a huge impact on us!"

Adds Wilkenfeld, "Cabrillo Music Theatre is in a period of rapid expansion. In the wake of our fundraising campaign, local businesses and organizations have been reaching out to Cabrillo to develop meaningful partnerships. Maureen's arrival couldn't come at a better time!"

Maureen O'Boyle Feldman comes to Cabrillo Music Theatre with over 20 years of experience in business development, fundraising, and production in both the entertainment and non-profit arenas. Maureen is a communications relationship expert who thrives on opportunities to fuse her love of the arts with her passion for social and community causes. A natural "connector" Maureen excels at identifying and fostering strategic partnerships, bringing individuals and organizations together to benefit causes and the community.

As Executive Producer of Resonation Music Inc. she produced national television commercials and film trailers for leading brands including Coca Cola, Outback Steakhouse, Exxon, Mattel, Ford, Disney and Miramax as well as donating her time overseeing production of music for non profit campaigns such as Cable in the Classroom, Aids Project NY, Childhelp USA, and Dine Out For America. Maureen is also an experienced voiceover artist. Having been "the voice" for dozens of national commercial campaigns, she understands the unique perspective of what it is like to be on the other side of the curtain.

Following Resonation, Maureen became the Director of Marketing for Worldwise Education Inc., a fundraising startup that raised capital for art programs in K-12 schools. Her efforts secured Worldwise Education a six-year partnership with the National PTA, which resulted in national exposure and a 50% increase in sales and participation. Most recently she held the position of Director of Community Engagement for Lift-Levantate, a leading community health non-profit where she developed multiple business partnerships, raising support and much needed funds for programs serving low-income families in the City of San Fernando.

Maureen has a keen interest in intergenerational communications and is an adjunct instructor at LA Pierce College where she leverages 21st Century communication tools to teach adult learners how to "Stay Connected" using technology and social media. She has directed and produced two training videos and a documentary, "The Encore Project" which highlights the importance of continued funding for senior programs.

Maureen maintains a very artistic household in Woodland Hills where she lives with her husband Michael, a music producer, and her two teenage children, Adam and Julia, who write and perform their own original music together. Her two dogs Tina and Ginger are content to just hang around and have their pictures taken-a lot. Maureen grew up in the San Fernando Valley, holds a bachelors in Kinesiology, a certificate in Grant Writing, and a masters degree in Media Communications.
