Showcasing the freshest talents writing for the theatre today, Unplugged presents four brand-spanking new plays in progress. Join us for staged readings of these new theatrical works as they are heard for the first time, and after each, stay for an intimate conversation with the playwright and cast and let your voice help shape the art from the ground up. This year centers around the premiere of the 2011 Greenfield Prize-commissioned work by eminent Tony Award-winning playwright John Guare (Six Degrees of Separation, House of Blue Leaves).
Proudly presented as part of the Greenfield Prize Annual Awards Weekend, in partnership with the Hermitage Artist Retreat, New College, The John & Mable Ringling Museum of Art and Gulf Coast Community Foundation.
