A naive young woman from a small town finds herself in the midst of a series of zany adventures when she comes to the Big apple. Set in the 1920's, Millie dillmount's ambition is to find work as a stenographer to a wealthy business and then marry him- a thoroughtly modern goal. Lots of tap dancing!!!
