The Richey Suncoast Theatre, a non-profit originally built in 1925 and named after silent film star Thomas Meighan, opened in 1926. It added sound in 1930 but closed in 1934 due to the Great Depression. Reopened in 1938, it became a community theatre in 1972.
Mission: Educate and perform arts, host events, and provide a venue for artists.
Purpose: Offer a safe space for creation, collaboration, and performance, engaging the community through partnerships and outreach.
Affordable Pricing for the Community: The theatre aims to keep ticket prices accessible to ensure everyone in the community can enjoy the arts, supported by membership, sponsorship, grants, and outreach programs.
All applicants should have excellent writing skills and an interest for giving local theaters and productions some prominence on BroadwayWorld.com.
Your compensation as a featured writer with us not only includes exclusive press seats to all of the shows you cover (as is standard in your area and arranged between you and the theater) but also the opportunity to be published under your own byline and publishing profile on both the local and main pages of the site for maximum exposure to our 5M+ monthly visitors.
If this sounds like you, please send a resume and one writing sample to social@broadwayworld.com.
