American Stage kicks off its 47th season with a tribute to Johnny Cash in a musical revue featuring 38 of his iconic songs, including "I Walk the Line" and "Jackson." The five-person ensemble, led by Morgan Tapp on fiddle, will showcase a mix of Bluegrass and Americana Folk music, celebrating the themes of community and storytelling found in Cash's work. Directed by Helen R. Murray, the performance aims to capture the spirit of family and togetherness that Cash's music inspires. The show runs from September 25 to October 20.
