Crazy Quilts, a dark comedy by Karen Fix Curry, premieres at LAB Theater Project on November 14. The play centers around a group of quilters on a small island in Puget Sound who, while creating beautiful quilts, navigate their personal troubles with unsettling solutions. Directed by Owen Robertson and featuring Tampa actors Avry Eden, Caroline Jett, Judy Wilson, Rusty Gillespie, and Amanda Cappello, the story invites viewers to explore themes of trauma, humor, and community support. The narrative follows Lisa, a journalist who becomes entangled in the club's unique dynamics as she confronts her own challenges.
