Now playing is THE LITTLE DOG LAUGHED from July 9 to July 26 at the Shimberg Playhouse at the Tampa Bay Performing Arts Center, 1010 N. W.C. MacInnes Place, Tampa, FL 33602. Mitchell is brimming with Hollywood star power. Women want him and men want to be him. He's also brimming with something else: he's falling in love. This would be fine with Diane, Mitchell's agent, if this new love weren't a twenty-something with secrets to hide. If there's a way out of this, Diane will find it, because the size of her paycheck depends on it. You can be sure she'll spare no one's sensitivity in this hilarious play about the price of ambition, the luxury tax on love, and the unexpected packaging in which dreams invariably arrive.

A fast paced, hilarious, yet biting look at the world of celebrity. An absolute send up of Hollywood that looks at fame, deception, lies and intolerance in between the zingers. (Adult material, brief frontal nudity).

MY CHILDREN! MY AFRICA! by Athol Fugard plays September 4-20, 2009 at Shimberg Playhouse at TBPAC.

This heartfelt and moving play by award-winning playwright Athol Fugard (‘Master Harold...') follows the friendship of two teenagers-one black and one white - in apartheid-torn South Africa. Inspiring and uplifting, this twentieth century classic tells the powerful story of political and everyday heroism. A classic for the whole family.

GOLDA'S BALCONY, Pending Rights Available, by William Gibson plays November 18 - Dec. 6, 2009 at Shimberg Playhouse at TBPAC.

An inspiring play of overwhelming power. The life of Golda Meir - from impoverished Russian schoolgirl to Prime Minister of Israel.

Grand Opening - New Theatre! TO KILL A MOCKINGBIRD plays March 2010. Stage Adaptation is by Christopher Sergel. At Stageworks Theatre in the Channel District.

Harper Lee's brilliant story, set in Alabama in the ‘30's, tells of a highly respected lawyer who puts his career on the line when he agrees to represent a black man accused of a heinous crime. The movie won three Oscars, and the book took the Pulitzer... it's a true American classic that must not be missed!

EURYDICE by Sarah Ruhl plays May, 2010 at Stageworks Theatre in the Channel District.

Bold theatricality, lush visuals and soaring emotion collide in this poignant and comic new take on the classic Greek myth about love, betrayal and family. Ruhl, a Pulitzer Prize finalist, reinvents the myth of Orpheus from the woman's point of view! The hit of the regional theatre circuit! New and dazzling!

A PERFECT GANESH by Terrence McNally plays July, 2010 at Stageworks Theatre in the Channel District.

The story of two wealthy, middle-aged housewives from Connecticut choose a vacation to India. The journey is both comical and insightful, as lead by "Ganesha" - a Hindu god of wisdom, prudence, acceptance and human love, with the head of an elephant and four arms. A perfect balance of humor and humanity in this Pulitzer-Prize nominated play. (McNally is a four time TONY award winner.)

BAD DATES by Teresa Rebeck plays July, 2010 at Shimberg Playhouse at TBPAC.

A hilarious and touching comedy. A one-woman show about Haley Walker, a Texan transplanted to New York City where she has lived through marriage, motherhood, and divorce. A single mother with a teenage daughter, a stressful job, Tibetan Buddhists, the Romanian mob and 600 designer shoes come together in tales of rotten romances as Haley ventures back out into the dating game, "Sex in the City" meets Tracey Ullman!
