An intimate and joyful introduction to orchestral music for early primary students.

The Four Seasons is Vivaldi’s best-known work, and is among the most popular pieces of Baroque music. Performed live by The Primary Proms Orchestra, the music will take students on a journey through the seasons where a young boy discovers the delights and difficulties of Mother Nature.

In this rich musical experience students will have the opportunity to meet the musicians and be introduced to the instruments and their sounds- from the silvery pizzicato notes of winter to the dramatic final movement of the summer thunderstorm.

This production had now come to Riverside after running for more than 30 years at the Sydney Opera House. It remains the perfect introduction for youngsters to the joys of live performance and storytelling in a relaxed, informal and interactive environment.
