Norma, a passionate story of a rare nobility, a story of love, betrayal and elegance. Do you Casta Diva? The mystical incantation to the moon, in the sacred forest, is a lesson of bel canto which requires an exceptional performer, both in terms of vocal technique as that of the tragedy. With its dramatic genius, Bellini raises the vestal virgins of Antiquity and Norma made to wear the two acts of his drama. Norma, a certain kinship with Medea, is troubled by a triangular conflict between human love, divine love and maternal love. It's the return of Alexandra Deshorties, breathtaking Medea of the 2014-2015 season.
