New Jewish Theatre presents John Logan's Red, a compelling exploration of the life of abstract expressionist painter Mark Rothko. Running from July 25 to August 11, the production will also feature three special events involving discussions with art curator Bill Sitzer, Rabbi James Stone Goodman, and scenic designer Margery Spack, providing deeper insights into Rothko's work and the artistic process. Performances take place at the J's Wool Studio Theatre, highlighting the intimacy of Rothko's creative space while engaging audiences in the rich context of his art.
