Concert III of MOCM highlights clean lines and the power of "less is more" in the music of Beethoven and Arnold Schoenberg. This concert features soprano, Janna Baty in Stravinsky's final original composition, The Owl and the Pussycat & the Calyx Piano Trio in A Thousand Tongues by Missy Mazzoli. MOCM invites nationally recognized professional musicians to historic Webster Groves, Missouri and St. Louis venues to perform a series of chamber music concerts as part of an annual festival which takes place each June. Diverse programming, including new and commissioned works, is a defining attribute of the festival, helping to illuminate the exciting, extraordinary, and diverse nuance of the small ensemble genre.
