Dancers Love Dogs at Artscape

Dancers Love Dogs returns for a one-night-only event at Artscape on September 11, 2024, featuring Alan Committie as the emcee. This gala will showcase over 300 dancers and 25 choreographers from various Cape Town dance schools and companies, all in support of animal welfare initiatives. Special appearances will include search-and-rescue dog Jedi, the SA Guide Dogs Association, and Mr. Miyagee, South Africa's smallest celebrity dog. Founded by Brigitte Reeve-Taylor, the event aims to raise funds for mass sterilization programs to address the overpopulation of homeless animals.
