Louis Viljoen's latest political thriller at Artscape delves into the dark underbelly of ambition, intrigue, and murder against a backdrop of a city in turmoil. As a union strike escalates, a powerful industrial leader, Burke, played by John Maytham, joins forces with his ambitious daughter, Margot, portrayed by Emma Kotze, to regain control with the help of a ruthless political operator, Dobbs, played by Carl Beukes. The action intensifies as they face off against a steadfast union champion and his supporters, culminating in a bloody confrontation. Sizwesandile Mnisi also takes the stage as Gibson, a union representative caught in the crossfire of moral dilemmas and shifting loyalties.
