WICKED visited the Tribeca Family Festival Street Fair on Saturday, April 28, 2012. Fans had the opportunity to spin the WICKED Wheel of Fortune, take their photo in Oz and pick up some fun giveaways. There was also a performance of 'The Wizard and I.' Check it out below!

Wicked has clearly established itself as a runaway success, so I don't think what people need now is my personal "review" of the show. Ever since being nominated for the Tony Award for best musical, people have known that the show is good. But I do want to put in my two cents about seeing the touring company at the Durham Performing Arts Center.

The Broadway League has awarded coveted New York Education Grants to the Broadway productions of Wit by Margaret Edson, and Wicked by Stephen Schwartz and Winnie Holzman. Each production receives a $5,000 grant towards its 2012 educational initiatives. The grants are important to the growth and development of theatre education in the city as they encourage theatres to create more opportunities for young people and to exchange ideas about education.

After breaking box office records and selling out in record time in 2009, WICKED, Broadway's biggest blockbuster, will return to Austin at Texas Performing Arts Bass Concert Hall, playing January 25-February 12, 2012. Tickets for the return engagement go on sale Saturday, October 22 at 10 a.m.

A day-of-performance lottery for a limited number of $25 orchestra seats will be held prior to each performance of WICKED, playing January 25 - February 12 at Bass Concert Hall. Each day, 2½ hours prior to show time (Tuesday-Friday at 8 pm; Saturday at 2 p.m. and 8 p.m.; Sunday at 1 p.m. & 7 p.m.
