'Glimpses of the Moon,' an original musical based on an Edith Wharton novel and created specifically for the intimate wood-paneled Oak Room of the Algonquin Hotel, delivers in spades. Produced by Lemon Tree Productions and written by Tajlei Levis and John Mercurio, it is a sparkling valentine to the jazz age.

The next event on Saturday, February 9 (11PM-2AM), special guests include David Burnham (Wicked), Annie Golden (Xanadu)! 'They're Playing Our Song' Hits Off-Bway & NJ

A partnership of Lake Tappan Entertainment and the nationally recognized Music Man Theatrical, located in Lavallette, NJ is opening its doors Friday thru Sunday, February 8th -10th, for a limited dessert theatre run of Neil Simon and Marvin Hamlisch's 1979 Tony-nominated musical, They're Playing Our Song. The production will move to New York City for two Off-Off-Broadway/Equity Showcase performances at The Producers' Club, located at 358 W. 44th St., on Thurs. and Sat., Feb. 21st & 23rd.

'Jesus Factor' Extends into Open-Ended Run at Barrow Street Theatre

Due to popular demand, and following its successful run at the recent Barrow Street Fortnight, Fresh Ice Productions and Jack W. Batman have announced an open-ended run of Brian Dykstra's The Jesus Factor, an impassioned indictment of the religious right, with direction by long-time collaborator Margarett Perry. Performances resume Saturday, February 2 at 5PM at the Barrow Street Theater (27 Barrow Street). Opening night set for Thursday, February 7 at 7:30PM.
