New York Musical Theatre Festival is in full swing and BroadwayWorld has taken the time to sit down with some of the stars of this years NYMF musicals.
Like any great art form, musical theatre is shaped by the events and philosophies of the day. The strength and vitality of musical theatre lie in its ability to stay fresh and relevant. It was with that idea in mind, ten years ago, that the New York Musical Theatre Festival (NYMF) was created - to provide an effective platform to introduce new shows, new perspectives, and new blood into the musical theatre canon.

The New York Musical Theatre Festival (NYMF) in association with Tomorrow's Child, Inc. & Actors' Playhouse Productions presents REAL MEN, a musical for guys and the women who put up with them with book, music and lyrics by Paul Louis and Nick Santa Maria. David Arisco directs a cast of three, including Paul Louis (Regional: Little Shop; Spamalot), Nick Santa Maria (Bway: Grease, The Producers) and Stephen G. Anthony (Bway: Hank Williams, Lost Highway). PCPA heralds in its 52nd season with the brand new Broadway adaptation of the classic musical, Cinderella, running November 12 through December 23 in the Marian Theatre. Acappella, Claudio Quest, HeadVoice, Held Momentarily, Moses Man, Napoleon, Real Men, a musical for guys and the women who put up with them; Songs for the Fallen, Tonya & Nancy: The Rock Opera and Wearing Black join the previously announced new musicals that will be presented at the 2015 New York Musical Theatre Festival from July 7, 2015 to July 27, 2015.
