The entire national touring production of PIPPIN, which launched in Denver last month, has been dedicated to Denver Center for the Performing Arts President Randy Weeks, who died suddenly on Oct. 9 in London.

Josh Kaufman, who in May of 2014 was announced as the winner of Season 6 of NBC's hit show 'The Voice' as a member of Usher's team, will make his Broadway debut in Pippin a little earlier than expected.

Pippin The Musical, The Broadway League and Art of Men will bring seventy-five New York City seniors from Union Settlement to the Broadway production of Pippin on October 19, 2014 to experience their first Broadway musical. Cast members from the Pippin will host a talkback with the seniors immediately following the show.

Lucie Arnaz returned to Broadway in the role of 'Berthe' in the Tony Award winning PIPPIN for a limited engagement last night, October 9. Arnaz will, coming staright from the PIPPIN national tour, will remain with the Broadway company through Sunday, November 9. Arnaz comes from the PIPPIN national tour, which is playing at the Golden Gate Theatre in San Francisco, CA. PIPPIN is now playing at the Music Box Theatre (239 West 45th Street).

SHN previously announced that Andrea Martin, who won the 2013 Tony, Drama Desk and Outer Critics Circle Awards for creating the role of 'Berthe' in the Broadway production, would reprise the role in the final two weeks (beginning today, October 7 and running through October 19) of the San Francisco engagement at the SHN Golden Gate Theatre.

The national tour of Pippin launched in Denver this week, and host of 'In Focus' Eden Lane sat down for a one-on-one with composer/lyricist Stephen Schwartz (GODSPELL, WICKED, Pippin, and more). Lane also met the director and driving force behind this re-imagined Pippin, Tony Award-winner Diane Paulus.
