One of the most beloved stories of all time comes to life in White River Junction when Northern Stage, the region's professional theater, stages L. Frank Baum's The Wizard of Oz from December 8 - January 2.

The Philadelphia Shakespeare Theatre is pleased to announce the 2010/11 mainstage 'in repertory' season of Hamlet and As You Like It, a tragedy and a comedy, written within one year of each other by William Shakespeare, and directed by Artistic Director Carmen Khan.

Totem Pole Playhouse is proud to welcome back to the Playhouse, John Putch, to direct the hilarious Neil Simon comedy, 45 Seconds From Broadway, opening in June 2010. John Putch began his professional career at the age of five, performing in the Totem Pole Playhouse production of Showboat in 1966.

Bakerloo Theatre Project's production of Hamlet, What Dreams May Come, created by award-winning playwright Adam Mathias (See Rock City & Other Destinations) and William Addis, will run at the West End Theater at 286 West 86th Street on February 6 at 3pm and February 7 and 8th at 8pm.

Charles Dickens, Hamlet, Sigmund Freud, Salvador Dali and three time-traveling Victorian ladies will be brought to life during Rep Stage's 2009-10 season lineup, announced today by Producing Artistic Director Michael Stebbins. Opening with David Davalos' 'Wittenberg,' Rep Stage's 17th season will feature Tennesse Williams' classic 'The Glass Menagerie'; an Edward Albee play directed by Helen Hayes Award-winning director Kasi Campbell; a unique Dickens-esque holiday offering at Belmont Manor and much more. In additional to regular season extras like pay-what-you-can Wednesdays, pre-show lectures, post-show discussions and the Rep Stage Reading Series, Rep Stage will offer a 15 percent discount on single ticket prices when patrons subscribe to three or more shows.
