Hangmen got a second chance at Broadway after it was forced to shutter while still in previews back in 2020. Now it's back, and this time around, Alfie Allen joins the company as the mysterious Mooney in Martin McDonagh's new comedy.

Martin McDonagh's Olivier Award-winning and New York Drama Critics' Circle Award-winning comedy Hangmen opened just last night at Broadway's Golden Theatre (252 West 45th Street).

BroadwayWorld has just learned that the Royal Court Theatre/Atlantic Theater Company production of Martin McDonagh's new comedy Hangmen will not resume performances at Broadway's Golden Theatre following the suspension of Broadway on March 12, 2020. The Olivier Award-winning Best Play began performances on Saturday, February 28, 2020, played 13 previews and was scheduled to officially open on Thursday, March 19, 2020.
