Nancy Sinatra, the eldest daughter of Frank Sinatra, has released a new album, Keep Walkin’: Singles, Demos & Rarities 1965-1978, which features previously unreleased music. One of the songs on the album is 'Do I Hear a Waltz?' by Richard Rodgers and Stephen Sondheim, from the musical of the same name. Listen to the song here!

Michael Arden has been a part of the New York theatre community for quite a while, having made his debut in the 2003 revival of BIG RIVER. This year he stepped behind the scenes, making his Broadway directing debut with Deaf West's SPRING AWAKENING (for which he was nominated for Best Direction of a Musical). How did he end up here? A.R.T. American Repertory Theater (A.R.T.) opens its 2011-12 season with The Gershwins' Porgy and Bess, by George Gershwin, DuBose and Dorothy Heyward, and Ira Gershwin. The adaptation by Pulitzer Prize-winning playwright Suzan-Lori Parks and Obie Award-winning composer Diedre L. Murray, directed by A.R.T. Artistic Director Diane Paulus, with choreography by Ronald K. Brown, begins previews on August 17 and opens for the reviewing press on August 31 at 7pm. Performances are at the Loeb Drama Center, 64 Brattle Street, Cambridge. Tickets for preview performances are currently on sale, remaining tickets for the run go on sale on July 12. Robert Foxworth plays King Lear and Bruce Turk the Fool in Shakespeare's tragedy, directed by Festival Artistic Director Adrian Noble. The crowns are swapped in Alan Bennett's The Madness of George III, also helmed by Noble, where Miles Anderson will play King George III and Foxworth will play Dr. Willis. The Festival also includes Shakespeare's The Taming of the Shrew directed by Ron Daniels with Jonno Roberts and Emily Swallow as the two sparring lovers.
