Roundabout Theatre Company has just announced further casting, design team and a brand-new title for its reimagined The Pirates of Penzance. This jazz-infused, New Orleans-style Broadway production, now titled Pirates! The Penzance Musical and we've got all the information about the new production.

Beck Center for the Arts has announced its 2024-2025 Professional Theater Season, the 91st season which includes Tony Award Winners, comedies, dramas, musicals, and another collaboration with Baldwin Wallace University Musical Theatre program.   Learn more about the lineup here!

The international tour marks the duo’s biggest yet, featuring more cities, more shows, and even bigger theaters (including the iconic Dolby Theatre). The tour will run from November 8 - December 30 across the US, UK, and Canada with a new show written by DeLa and Jinkx that proves they’re still the reigning “queens of Christmas'.'

Monsoon, who broke box office records starring in Chicago on Broadway earlier this year, and BenDeLaCreme will embark on a 30-city international tour, marking the duo’s biggest tour yet, featuring more cities, more shows, and even bigger theaters (including the iconic Dolby Theatre).

It's been 45 years since Jinkx Monsoon (winner of Season Five of 'RuPaul's Drag Race') and Major Scales have set foot on stage together.

This year, the BroadwayWorld Cabaret awards were thrilled to be able to celebrate streaming events from all across the globe thanks to the innovation of the Cabaret community during the pandemic - and we look forward to celebrating the return of NYC Cabaret with you all in 2021.

After its 2020 success with speakers including Chita Rivera and Joe Iconis, among others, the 92Y School of Music announces an all-new roster of cabaret programming for 2021, led by award-winning cabaret historian and performer, Michael Kirk Lane. Perfect for both practitioners and fans of the art form, it includes BroadwayWorld Cabaret Award-nominated interview series, Cabaret Conversations, as well as classes Cabaret History and Great Performances, and the newest, Cabaret Performance: Connecting to Your Lyric.

The BWW Cabaret Awards honor exemplary performers and productions in New York from October 1st, 2019 to September 30th, 2020. Nominees in all categories excluding Special Event - Solo and Special Event - Multiple needed to have performed all or the majority of their shows (at least two of three shows) during this eligibility period.

Jinkx Monsoon & Major Scales: The Ginger Snapped returns to Joe's Pub with three shows! However Jinkx worries that her best years are behind her. In order to avoid a breakdown of diva proportions Major must act as both pianist and therapist to the Manic Miss Monsoon. Music and mental health collide in this witty, biting look at the dark side of Drag fame.

Following last year's total sell-out tour of The Vaudevillians which was performed in countries around the world, RuPaul's Drag Race Season Five winner, Jinkx Monsoon and lyrical genius Major Scales, return to showcase new music from their latest album The Ginger Snapped, at HOME Manchester, Thu 28 - Sat 30 March 2019.

3…2…1… Blast Off! Edinburgh Festival Fringe audiences will have the chance to experience an explosively funny space adventure as David Walliams' stage adaptation of The First Hippo on the Moon touches down in Edinburgh this August.

You'll Not Feel The Drowning, written by Marissa Skudlarek  and  directed by Gabriel A. Ross, is the first play to be workshopped by Custom Made Theatre Company as part of their New Play Development Program, Undiscovered Works, a project in collaboration with the EXIT Theatre with the goal of creating more direct avenues from page to stage.
