Island City Stage announced its 2026-27 season, marking its 15th anniversary with productions including WHO KILLED JOAN CRAWFORD?, GREY GARDENS, a world premiere political satire, and a classic play.

Drummers are a particular breed. Keith Moon of The Who famously drove a limousine into a swimming pool during his 21st birthday party. Led Zeppelin’s John Bonham and Motley Crue’s Tommy Lee both engaged in hotel debauchery: Bonham rode motorcycles along corridors while Lee launched fireworks from balconies. Then there was the terrifyingly violent Ginger Baker who, when not raising hell on stage for Cream, threatened those around him with knives and canes. So, at least from a Western perspective, whoever came up with the concept of putting nine drummers into a band was either extremely foolish or admirably brave.

The Repertory Theatre of St. Louis announced eight newly elected board members, joining as the company celebrates its 60th Anniversary Season. Ann Cady Scott returns as Board President for a third term.

Tomorrow, April 25th, will mark the 32nd anniversary of the passing of vocal arranger, musical director, pianist, and musical genius James Raitt. BBC Radio 4's The Archers will mark its 75th anniversary this summer with a major live stage tour and Fane Productions have announced which members of the Radio 4 cast will be appearing live on stage.
