Broadway World Cabaret is looking at the work of ten artists we refer to, simply, as THE FUTURE.

The design team has been announced for Vineyard Theatre's Sandra. The newly announced design team includes scenic design by Tony Award winner Rachel Hauck, costume design by Tony Award winner Linda Cho, lighting design by Thom Weaver, and sound design by Kathy Ruvuna.

Paper Mill Playhouse has announced that Jen Bender (Broadway’s The Lion King, The Wedding Singer, Avenue Q) will join PMP as Associate Artistic Director, following longtime Associate Artistic Director Patrick Parker, who stepped down on September 30, 2022 after 27 years at the post.

Fly The Flag launched in 2018 on the 70th anniversary of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights (UDHR), with artist and activist Ai Weiwei commissioned to design a flag as a symbol for Human Rights.

This rotating two-year playwriting residency is named in honor of Public Theater artist and Barnard alumna (Class of 1970) Ntozake Shange.

The Public Theater has announced complete casting for the world premiere of PLAYS FOR THE PLAGUE YEAR, written by and featuring Pulitzer Prize winner and Public Theater Writer-in-Residence Suzan-Lori Parks and directed by Bessie Award winner Niegel Smith. 

Henry Holt, a division of Macmillan Publishers, has acquired actor John Stamos’s memoir, If You Would Have Told Me. Stamos is the critically acclaimed, Emmy-nominated actor whose multifaceted career spans four decades. Executive Editor James Melia acquired the book from Esther Newberg and Kristyn Keene Benton at CAA.

Jean Trinh, co-founder of Alquímico, a sustainability-focused cocktail bar in Cartagena, Colombia, has been named the winner of the Altos Bartenders’ Bartender Award 2022.

The Kitchen has announced Fall 2022 season programming launching the influential, experimental interdisciplinary organization beyond the walls of its Chelsea building as it undergoes renovations and moves temporarily to another location with a rich avant-garde history: Westbeth.

Michael R. Jackson's WHITE GIRL IN DANGER will begin previews on March 15, 2023 and will officially open on April 10, 2023 at Second Stage’s Off-Broadway home, the Tony Kiser Theater. The limited 8-week run will play through Sunday, May 21, 2023.
