After a much smaller, socially-distant season inside the company’s Showtime Stage on Red Bank Road, The Children’s Theatre of Cincinnati is ready to roll out the red carpet and welcome patrons home to the Taft Theatre in Downtown Cincinnati starting this October 2021.

Jesse Berger - Red Bull Theater Founder and Artistic Director, Jim Bredeson - Red Bull Managing Director, and the Board of Trustees of Red Bull Theater have announced that the Twelfth Annual Running of the Red Bulls Gala Benefit on Monday March 30th will celebrate the company's 17th Season and honor Kate Burton, André De Shields, and Theatre Development Fund with the 2020 Matador Awards for Excellence in Classical Theater. Proceeds from the evening will support all of Red Bull Theater's programs including its upcoming Off-Broadway production of The Alchemist.

David Rubenstein Atrium continues its 10th anniversary year with free, eclectic live performances every Thursday. The 2019-20 season of LC Kids (October 5a?"June 7, 2020) is in full swingwith free and ticketed events developed for toddlers, children, and teenagers stepping into young adulthood; and American Songbook begins its latest season with artists performing Broadway, folk, classical, and more.

William F. Brown, the Tony-nominated American writer who is best known for his libretto to the long-running Broadway musical The Wiz, died on June 23 in Westport, CT, according to his longtime wife and collaborator, Tina Tippit. He was 91.

The 72nd Annual Tony Awards are this Sunday June 10th at 8/9c hosted by Josh Groban and Sara Bareilles. It's the biggest award show of the Broadway season and it closes out a long awards season for Broadway and Off-Broadway musicals and plays. We can't help but wonder what chances this year's Best Musical and Best Play nominees have of taking home the ultimate prize...
