Judy Garland's 'Over the Rainbow' Barbra Streisand's 'People' and the original cast album of Broadway's THE WIZ are among the 25 titles which will be preserved by the Library of Congress' National Recording Registry for 2016.

Fans of Northeast Ohio R&B icons, The O'Jays, will be able to jump onboard that Love Train when tickets go on sale Sat., Nov. 19 at 11 am for the January 28, 8 pm O'JAYS and STEPHANIE MILLS concert at Playhouse Square's State Theatre.

The Tempest will run for four performances from Friday, March 3 to Sunday, March 5 at the Dee and Charles Wyly Theatre.

Fifth grade theatrical students in the Hazelwood school district, arts education students with severe developmental disabilities at Boonslick State School, and nearly 400 musical students from Keeven Elementary School, are just a few of those who will benefit from the $30,000 in grants awarded to 11 arts education projects funded by the Maritz Arts and Education Fund for Teachers, it was announced today by the Arts and Education Council.

Lincoln Ave. in Chicago. Joining the original cast as the Wizard is Tony Award-nominated actor Andre De Shields, Broadway's original 'The Wiz' (1975). Inspired by the beloved film The Wizard of Oz, these Ozians will follow the yellow brick road to the tune of iconic rock anthems from the '80s and '90s. It's like your favorite radio station but better... because it has witches and munchkins! 

The 70th Annual Tony Awards are this Sunday June 12th at 8/9c hosted by James Corden. It's the biggest award show of the Broadway season and it closes out a long awards season for Broadway and Off-Broadway musicals and plays. We can't help but wonder what chances this year's Best Musical and Best Play nominees have of taking home the ultimate prize.
