The Wild Party Revival

Stephen DeAngelis will present the 196th edition of AT THIS PERFORMANCE…, spotlighting understudies from RAGTIME, BEACHES, THE WILD PARTY, MERRILY WE ROLL ALONG, and GODDESS at The Green Room 42.

The Museum of Broadway has announced a redesign of its permanent costume exhibit will exclusively feature costumes worn by iconic Black performers in celebration of Black History Month.

The Broadway production of Ragtime was a glorious accomplishment, a riveting testament to the original American musical and to all that America itself could be. The show ran for 834 performances at the Ford Center, closing in the final year of the 20th century. It was nominated for 13 Tony Awards, taking home four.

The cast has been announced for Don't Rock The Boat, directed by Sally Hughes, at The Mill at Sonning. In Robin Hawdon's brilliant comedy, set on a wild ride down the river Thames, the tranquil river waters soon turn into a storm in a teacup.

The new musical Goddess can currently be seen in its New York premiere production at the Public Theater on Lafayette Street. Directed by the Public’s associate artistic director and resident director Saheem Ali, who is currently Tony Award-nominated for directing Buena Vista Social Club, Goddess is playing at the Public’s largest space by capacity, the Newman Theatre.

Ars Nova will honor Founding Artistic Director Jason Eagan at Nova Ball, Ars Nova's annual benefit-turned-party of the season. As recently announced, following over two decades of leadership, Eagan will step down from his role as Artistic Director on June 30, 2025.

Idina Menzel has returned to Broadway in Redwood, now playing at the Nederlander Theatre! Menzel famously got her start in Rent on Broadway, and has gone on to star in iconic productions including Wicked, Hair, Aida, The Wild Party, and more.
