A Starry, Starry Night at The Argyle Theatre hosted by Argyle Artistic Director Evan Pappas with music direction by Ethan Andersen.

Using personal stories and songs, she takes the audience on a journey through love, rejection, race, artistry, and heartbreak in a performance that challenges, encourages, and uplifts, reminding us that we have the capacity to move forward from any setback.

The Charleston Gaillard Center is thrilled to announce 2021-2022 Series single tickets are on sale Friday, August 6 at 11am for seven performances. The Foundation of the National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences (NATAS) awarded $100,000 in scholarships to eight college-bound high school students pursuing careers in television the organization announced today.

Tony Charmoli died peacefully on the evening of August 7th at his home in the Hollywood Hills. He was 99. Tony had a decades long, award-winning career as a director, a producer, and as a choreographer for television, film, and theater.

Obie Award winner Metropolitan Playhouse will present a 'screened' reading of Susan Glaspell and George Cram Cook's one-act comedy, SUPPRESSED DESIRES, via live stream video, with special guest J ELLEN GAINOR participating in a post-show talk on Saturday, May 16, 2020 at 8 PM, EST. Kent Tritle begins the new decade with his first organ recital at the Cathedral of St. John the Divine in two years, Bach's St. John Passion with the Cathedral Choir, and both a new edition of Brahms's A German Requiem and the world premiere of A Nation of Others, an oratorio about Ellis Island with music by Paul Moravec and libretto by Mark Campbell, with the Oratorio Society of New York.
