Jobsite Theater once again dives headfirst into a world only they know how to portray. A world reveling in the strange, the unorthodox, and yet proving to be a masterclass of all things twisted and warped. This production which harkens back to their production of Shockheaded Peter, a few seasons back, once again dives into a little unfamiliar territory than we normally witness in the area, but an area so well known to Jobsite and its followers. Perfectly demented and, perfectly placed this deranged grouping of child-like tales have a bleak ending for most of the characters involved.

She's the Scottish actor, comedian and legendary panto queen who has entertained audiences in a 40-year stage and screen career. And now, Elaine C Smith is helping to pave the way for aspiring comedy actors to follow in her footsteps.

Jack Jones, the renowned American singer and actor best known for his smooth pop vocals and contributions to the Great American Songbook, passed away on October 23, 2024, at the age of 86. Jones's career spanned over six decades, during which he won two Grammy Awards and received a total of five nominations.

Structured as a non-stop song-and-dance revue without any dialogue, the Fats Waller tribute musical relies on its spunky live band and its crazy-good, five-person cast to sing a songbook filled with (mostly) joyful and (some) sorrowful jazz tunes. Pittsburgh, PA, native Donnie Iris and the Cruisers is coming to the Capitol Theatre in Wheeling, WV, on Saturday, October 12. 

I AM HARVEY MILK, based on the life of American LGBTQ+ activist, will see the West End’s Joel Harper-Jackson and Broadway’s Sierra Boggess lead a 50 strong choir and 26-piece orchestra for two special performances of Andrew Lippa’s oratorio at Cadogan Hall on Sunday 27 October 2024. 

The Huntington will kick off the nine-play Ufot Family Cycle and has announced the cast and creative team of Sojourners, the moving and heartfelt play written by Mfoniso Udofia and directed by Dawn M. Simmons.

 Materials for the Arts will present “some part of me lived here before,” a new solo exhibition by MFTA Artist-in-Residence Amanda Phingbodhipakkiya, will open at the Materials for the Arts gallery on October 17, 2024, and be on view through January 10, 2024
