The American Theatre Guild, the largest not-for-profit touring Broadway presenter in the nation, unveils  its highly anticipated 2022–2023 Announcement for Eugene as part of the Hult Center's 40th Anniversary Season. The  BROADWAY IN EUGENE SERIES will include the following touring productions: HAMILTON, THE SIMON &  GARFUNKEL STORY, LEGALLY BLONDE, COME FROM AWAY, and ANASTASIA.

Live theatre is officially back and Concord Theatricals is celebrating! 'There's No Business Like Show Business' is a digital celebration that launched just last month, marking the return of live theater and all of the incredible people who help to make it happen. The 72nd Annual Tony Awards are this Sunday June 10th at 8/9c hosted by Josh Groban and Sara Bareilles. It's the biggest award show of the Broadway season and it closes out a long awards season for Broadway and Off-Broadway musicals and plays. This summer Goodspeed Musicals will produce the heartwarming new musical Because of Winn Dixie. This touching tale based on the award-winning novel by Kate DiCamillo will run June 28 - September 1 at The Goodspeed in East Haddam, Conn.

Yesterday, BroadwayWorld was saddened to report the passing of veteran stage and screen actor, Georgia Engel. She was 70 years old.

It has just been announced that stars Ana Gasteyer as ("Miss Hannigan') and Megan Hilty ("Lily St. Regis.") have joined the cast of the upcoming Hollywood Bowl production of ANNIE, which will take place Friday, July 27, at 8 pm, Saturday, July 28, at 8 pm, and Sunday, July 29, at 7:30 pm. 

Known across the world for her powerful voice and perfect pitch, Lea Salonga has been announced for the role of Grace Farrell in Hollywood Bowl's upcoming production of Annie, one of the longest-running shows in Broadway history, which will be this summer's annual staged musical at the Bowl.
