Brisbane's cathartic and emotive post-punk group SEMANTICS has unveiled the music video for “This Love Could Kill You”, the second single off of their debut full-length album Paint Me Blue. “This Love Could Kill You” is a delicate look at domestic violence and abuse, with the goal to bring awareness to the warning signs. Starlight will present the Kansas City premiere of Rodgers & Hammerstein’s OKLAHOMA! at Starlight Theatre from May 13-15.

 Los Angeles-based artist/vocalist/producer ayokay will release his new album, Digital Dreamscape, on May 13 via Astralwerks. On the visionary, 13-track album and the accompanying videos, ayokay tells the story of protagonist Alex and his deepening relationship with an outsider female character, Chelle, who has created a computer system that allows her to enter into another reality. Joining them in this world, known as “Digital Dreamscape,” are multitudes of people who leave behind relics of their experiences or decide to never return home.

Playwrights Horizons will present Will Arbery’s Corsicana, directed by Sam Gold, June 2–July 10 (opening June 22) in the Mainstage Theater. In Corsicana, a small city in Texas, a woman with Down syndrome named Ginny and her half-brother Christopher are unmoored in the wake of their mother’s death.

Mabou Mines will present preview performances of The Vicksburg Project, May 11 - 15, May 18 - 22, May 25 - 29, 2022 (at Mabou Mines, 150 1st Avenue, Second Floor, New York), in anticipation of its premiere at Harlem Stage in 2023.

Broadway Dallas and Broadway Across America will present the Dallas premiere of Rodgers & Hammerstein’s OKLAHOMA! at the Winspear Opera House from May 31 – June 12, 2022 as part of the Germania Insurance Broadway Series presented by Broadway Dallas. 

Producer Daryl Roth has announced a special series of “Meet The Author Nights” at BETWEEN THE LINES, which will feature talkbacks with NY Times bestselling author Jodi Picoult, who wrote the novel the musical is based on alongside her daughter Samantha Van Leer.

The Young Vic set the complete cast for the UK premiere of Oklahoma!  Daniel Fish’s striking revival of Rodgers & Hammerstein’s classic musical which originally premiered at the Richard B. Geffen Playhouse’s next live production in their Audrey Skirball Kenis Theater, Lindsay Joelle’s TRAYF opens March 10th (with previews already in progress). Maggie Burrows directs the cast of Ilan Eskenazi, Ben Hirschhorn, Louisa Jacobson and Garrett Young. For those unfamiliar with the term “trayf,” Oxford Language dictionary defines trayf as “adjective: (of food) not satisfying the requirements of Jewish law.” I had the opportunity to throw out a few questions to Lindsay amidst her final rehearsals.

The John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts will present the Washington, D.C. premiere of Rodgers & Hammerstein’s OKLAHOMA! at the Kennedy Center’s Eisenhower Theater April 5–10, 2022.

The new Off-Broadway musical BETWEEN THE LINES will star Arielle Jacobs (Aladdin, Wicked), Jake David Smith (Frozen), Vicki Lewis (Anastasia, Damn Yankees), Will Burton (Kiss Me, Kate; Hello, Dolly!), Jerusha Cavazos (The Prom), Pierre Marais (Aladdin), John Rapson (Les Misérables) and Julia Murney (Wicked, The Wild Party).

Pasadena Playhouse will present Teenage Dick, a brilliantly hilarious take on Richard III by Mike Lew and directed by Tony Award nominee Moritz von Stuelpnagel, streaming online.

The Kimmel Cultural Campus will present the Philadelphia premiere of the reimagined Rodgers & Hammerstein's OKLAHOMA!, running March 8 through March 20 at the Forrest Theatre. The 2021-22 national tour will mark the first time a First-Class Equity production of Oklahoma! has toured North America in more than 40 years.

Cloud 21 PR International and Kultura PR International will present the fifth annual 'Indie Entertainment Showcase' a special event that will be held virtually during this year's Sundance Film Festival.

Today, the Canadian singer/songwriter Brandon Williams releases his Deathwish debut Suffer Summer and in celebration, the artist has unveiled another standout single from the album — 'When You Go Home I Withdrawal.'  The song is a collaboration with songwriter Stefan Babcock (PUP) and is one of the most towering tracks on the record. 

The third year of the record-breaking North American Tour of Dear Evan Hansen relaunched on December 7, 2021 in Greensboro, North Carolina. The tour will stop by more than 30 cities across the US and Canada in the 2021/2022 season.

The Best of Broadway will present the Lowcountry premiere of Rodgers & Hammerstein’s OKLAHOMA! at the North Charleston Performing Arts Center  May 21 & 22, 2022.  Tickets will go on sale to the general public on Monday, December 13 at 10AM.

The show stars Janet Dacal as the vulnerable cafe owner Dina and Sasson Gabay as Tewfiq, the orchestra leader who has been traumatized by a past tragedy.

Lunchbox Theatre is set to debut the first production of its 2021-22 season after nearly two years in the dark. As announced in September, the first full, in-person production is the holiday show All I Want for Christmas by Rebecca Northan. It is a wonderful new comedy about looking for love at the North Pole that is sure to warm your heart and get you in the festive spirit. This production will preview on November 30, Open on December 2nd and run until December 19, 2021.

The North American tour of Rogers & Hammerstein's Oklahoma! began performances at the Orpheum Theatre in Minneapolis, MN on November 9, 2021 and will continue to play over 25 cities during the 2021-2022 season including stops in Los Angeles, San Francisco, Dallas, Philadelphia, Washington D.C., Chicago and Nashville, and more. The second ACA Cinema Project series will present Flash Forward: Debut Works and Recent Films by Notable Japanese Directors, a hybrid program with 18 films streaming nationwide on Japan Society's Virtual Cinema from December 3-23, 2021 and two in-person screenings in Japan Society's auditorium on December 11 and 17.
