Drury Lane Theatre Announces Rescheduled Dates For EVITA due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Evita, originally scheduled for April 10 - June 14, 2020, has been rescheduled to April 2, 2021, through June 6, 2021, at Drury Lane Theatre, 100 Drury Lane in Oakbrook Terrace. The press opening is scheduled for Thursday, April 15, 2021, at 8:00pm.

South Bay Musical Theatre (SBMT) has announced the titles for the Company's upcoming 2020-2021 season. The 2020-2021 season will include JOSEPH AND THE AMAZING TECHNICOLOR DREAMCOAT (September 26 - October 17, 2020), A LITTLE NIGHT MUSIC (January 30 - February 20, 2021) and THE KING AND I (May 15 - June 5, 2021).

Comedian and actor, Kevin James, is bring his tour to Sioux Falls at the Washington Pavilion on Sunday, May 17th 2020. Tickets start at $39.00 plus applicable fees and go on-sale Friday, March 6that 10AM. 

Kevin James began his career as a stand-up on the Long Island comedy scene. After being discovered at the 1996 Montreal Comedy Festival, he signed a network development deal to create his own sitcom.

The Warner Theatre will welcome comedian and actor KEVIN JAMES back to the Main Stage on Saturday, June 27 at 8 pm. Tickets will go on sale to Warner Members on Wednesday, February 19 at 10 am and to the General Public on Friday, February 21 at 10 am. The King of Queens, which premiered in 1998, ran for nine seasons on CBS with James starring and executive producing, and it garnered him an Emmy nomination in 2006 for Outstanding Lead Actor in a Comedy Series. The show concluded its run in 2007 but continues to air daily in syndication across the country and around the world. James also starred in and executive produced the sitcom Kevin Can Wait for Sony Television and CBS.

Emilio Estevez is reprising his iconic role as beloved Coach Gordon Bombay in the new Disney+ original series “The Mighty Ducks.” Based on the '90s hit franchise, the 10-episode series will premiere later this year on the streaming service.  In addition to starring, Estevez will serve as an executive producer.

The New York Philharmonic has announced plans for the 2020–21 season, Jaap van Zweden's third as Music Director. Van Zweden once again conducts a wide range of repertoire, including four World Premieres, a US Premiere, and symphonic cornerstones. As in his first two seasons as Music Director, he continues to connect with New Yorkers through impactful projects, performances, and collaborations with other cultural institutions, and conducts the Orchestra on an Asian tour.

The B.B. King Blues Band are thrilled to announce their new partnership with The B.B. King Estate. This joint venture now finds the two forces working together to bring the world The B.B. King Experience, the band's new working name. In addition to the upcoming world tour (dates listed below), the single 'Rock Me Baby' featuring George Benson, Tito Jackson and Claudette King will be released this summer.

In what has become an annual ritual, a total of 40 established and emerging composers, lyricists, and librettists will converge on the Goodspeed campus from mid-January through mid-February 2020 to participate in the Johnny Mercer Foundation Writers Colony at Goodspeed Musicals. Theatre for a New Audience (TFANA; Jeffrey Horowitz, Founding Artistic Director) presents William Shakespeare's Timon of Athens, a co-production with Shakespeare Theatre Company in association with the Royal Shakespeare Company. Director Simon Godwin (Measure for Measure) returns to TFANA with a reimagining of his vibrant staging of Timon of Athens, which premiered at the Royal Shakespeare Company in 2018 - the first time the play had been staged with a female lead.

Toronto rock duo Bedouin Soundclash just released their critically-acclaimed fifth studio album MASS via Easy Star Records/Mr. Bongo/Sony Canada. The duo is currently touring with Matisyahu with a handful of northeast dates to close out 2019.

'Tis the season for the popular Christmas-themed ballet THE NUTCRACKER to fill stages around the world offering families the chance to experience the emotionally engaging story of Clara and the dreamlike journey she takes to the Land of Sweets with the Nutcracker as her guide. During the December 7 and 8 weekend, The Soraya's resident dance company, Aspen Santa Fe Ballet, perhaps best known for edgy programs featuring the most notable contemporary choreography, kicked off the troupe's fifth Soraya season at Cal State Northridge with something different: the most traditional of story ballets. With Tchaikovsky's original music, this storybook production, choreographed by ASFB executive director Jean-Phillippe Malaty and artistic director Tom Mossbrucker, set THE NUTCRACKER in the Victorian era, beginning with the resplendent holiday party and concluding with the fantastical scenes in the second act centered around a bright and colorful carousel.

Arena Stage at the Mead Center for American Theater announces the company for A Thousand Splendid Suns, adapted for the stage by Ursula Rani Sarma and based on the 2007 New York Times bestselling novel by Khaled Hosseini (Kite Runner). Set in 1992 in war-torn Afghanistan, this gripping story centers around a friendship that develops between two Afghan women following a tragedy. While facing insurmountable odds of a brutal and oppressive way of life, the two form an unlikely bond in a heart-rending fight for survival. Directed by Carey Perloff, A Thousand Splendid Suns runs January 17 - March 1, 2020 in the Kreeger Theater.

The Fourth Annual DangerMan Hero Award Show and Concert will be super special this year! Among the numerous honorees for the night being acknowledged for their community activism are two celebrated thespians who have portrayed history making superheroes on television. Actors Carl Lumbly, the star of 'M.A.N.T.I.S.' the first primetime African-American superhero on network television and CBS 'All Rise' star Simone Missick, TV's first black female superhero Misty Knight on Marvel's 'Luke Cage,' will be celebrated alongside nine additional illustrious recipients. The occasion is produced by actor, mentor and philanthropist Roger I. Tinsley, the founder of the DangerMan Urban Superhero brand and CEO/President of the DangerMan Education Foundation, Inc., a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization. The show will take place at the California African American Museum located at 600 State Drive in Los Angeles. The red carpet and VIP Reception start at 5:30 pm with the concert and show starting at 6:45 p.m. and ending at 10:00 p.m., on Saturday, December 7, 2019. Aetna Foundation is the event sponsor.

Legendary, multi-award winning actress/singer Betty Buckley returns to Café Carlyle, March 10 a?" 21. Her career spans theater, film, television and concert halls around the world. She's received a sea of accolades including a Tony Award for her performance as Grizabella, the Glamour Cat, in Andrew Lloyd Webber's CATS. She's a 2012 Theatre Hall of Fame inductee, and the 2017 recipient of the Julie Harris Award from The Actor's Fund for Artistic Achievement. Betty Buckley just completed a national tour of the new Broadway production of Hello, Dolly! produced by Scott Rudin.
