American Repertory Theater of WNY will kick-off the 2022-23 season with a production of the original work 'The Paradigm Bomb', written by 716 playwright Matthew LaChiusa, Sept 9th and will run to Oct 1st. The Cliburn has announced the new details of the eighth edition of the Cliburn International Amateur Piano Competition, for non-professional pianists age 35 and older. Tomasz Stańko – one of Europe's most original and beloved jazz musicians – was born on July 11, 1942, in Rzeszów, Poland, and he passed away in Warsaw on July 29, 2018. In many ways, his life traced the course of modern jazz in Europe, beginning with his tenure – when barely into his twenties – in the band of the great Polish composer-pianist Krzysztof Komeda.

Broadway's Elaine Bunse-Bullens passed away on Monday, August 8th, 2022 at Heritage Lakeside Rehab facility in Rice Lake, WI.

Previous guest stars Rosie O’Donnell and Laurel Holloman also return in their recurring roles of Carrie and Tina, respectively. Ahead of the release of their sophomore album, Hush, next week, Newfoundland’s Weary reveal “Trust”. Hush, explores the quiet spaces that demand we listen a little closer, a little more carefully.  The record is part guitar driven inner child work, part attempt to understand the grief, trauma and chaos of our world.

From August through early December, 55 visual artists, writers, composers, choreographers and interdisciplinary artists will be at Ucross, which is located on a historic 20,000-acre ranch in the foothills of the Bighorn Mountains in northern Wyoming. New York City Ballet will present its tenth annual Fall Fashion Gala on Wednesday, September 28, 2022 at 7pm at the David H. Koch Theater at Lincoln Center. This year’s event will honor Sarah Jessica Parker, a vice chair of the NYCB Board of Directors, who conceived the Fall Fashion Gala in 2012.
