Fraser, CEO of the Arthur Ashe Institute for Urban Health (AAIUH), announced today the hosts and honorees for SportsBall 2019, the 25th Annual Black Tie & Sneakers Gala, to take place on Wednesday, October 2nd at the Grand Hyatt Hotel in New York City. Renowned guests representing sports, philanthropy, business, entertainment, and medicine will gather to celebrate the legacy of tennis champion and humanitarian Arthur Ashe. The event benefits the ongoing community health education programs and research initiatives of the Arthur Ashe Institute for Urban Health.

Under Artistic Director and lyric tenor Sebastian Haboczki, gifted musicians soprano Melissa McCann, István Lakatos (violin) and Paul Digout (piano) celebrate the brilliant folk songs from Zoltán Kodály (pronounced Ko-dye), along with the music of Ferenc (Franz) Liszt and others. This outstanding musical showcase brings a retrospective of Hungarian composers to a contemporary audience for an informative and engaging concert for both Hungarians and non-Hungarians alike. One night only, Saturday, October 5, at the acoustically stunning St. James United Church. Proceeds from the evening benefit numerous Montreal youth and non-profit communities.

The 11th Annual Burbank International Film Festival announced its winners at their closing night Awards Show and Reception held at the Los Angeles Marriott Burbank Airport Hotel on September 8. DOLLY PARTON'S SMOKY MOUNTAIN CHRISTMAS CAROL delivers on the simplicity of its message of faith, family, and love, especially during the holiday season, and is a reflection of the heritage and values of its namesake. Don't let this first photo confuse you. This Company is so many things, and the picture represents but one facet of their dance works ~ I just had to use it for the beauty and uniqueness of it. The evening commenced with a sextet of pieces that were entitled The Heritage of the Great Steppe, following the history and traditions of the Kazakhstan people. Beautifully executed and visually stunning, each one was unique.
