Lou Brutus is a music industry legend and one of the planet's ultimate music fans. He lives the dream of millions by traveling the earth, attending concerts, and interviewing rock stars. He has spent his life blasting tunes on the radio, becoming the first to play all of your favorite bands and gaining access to literally thousands of music events.

Four-time Obie Award-winner Caryl Churchill is the pre-eminent writer of feminist themes involving sexual politics, abuses of power and gender equality. There's no better metaphor of these themes than the witch hunts of 17th century England which provide the backstory of Vinegar Tom, an allegory that rings so true today. The play, which includes a modern score by Diana Lawrence sung by a Greek chorus dressed as street walkers, bridges time to illustrate the continuity of women's struggle against shaming, disempowerment and inequality. In director Ariel Craft's skillful hands, Churchill's sad satire blazes anew with a remarkable cast and technical crew that conjure both history and the present in vivid detail.

Eagles – Don Henley, Joe Walsh and Timothy B. Schmit, with Deacon Frey and Vince Gill – are bringing their recent, highly acclaimed 'Hotel California' performances on tour in 2020 with concerts in Atlanta, New York, Dallas, Houston, San Francisco and Los Angeles. Each night's concert will feature a 'Hotel California' set, with an accompanying orchestra and choir, followed by an additional set of the band's greatest hits. On September 21 and 22, Ivy Baldwin Dance will present Quarry, a site-specific performance work at Manitoga, the former home and 75-acre woodland garden of the late American industrial designer Russel Wright. Quarry takes inspiration from Wright's desire to blur lines between outside and inside, nature and the man-made, and from his deep commitment to experimentation with form and material.

Superbly written and performed by Laiona Michelle, the production enjoys inspired direction by Devanand Janki. This show is a sure fire hit!

The first, 7 SONGS OF THE REFUGEE, takes the audience to ninth-century China, to the downfall of the mighty Tang dynasty. We meet the hermit and poet Tu, an old man who is 'exiled forever.' He has fallen from a prestigious position of high office at the Emperor's court: 'It was a misunderstanding: I expressed myself too clearly.' Now he is a refugee, living on the few herbs he can find under the snow. In a flashback, he remembers his years as a soldier at the front, leaving his family, and the bloody battles he fought.

Today, Falls announced his cast for the world-premiere production, which features as characters some of the figures who shaped the political landscapes of the 1980s and beyond.
