Perfect to celebrate Pride Month!

Encore! Performing Arts’ production of HELLO, DOLLY! leans heavily into the relentless optimism and good time that’s made the musical a classic. They’ve crafted together a show which takes advantage of every aspect of its production, from the costumes to the orchestrations to the simple power of a Look from the lead.

They said it would never happen, but now it is – after 25 years, Soul Coughing are reuniting for a 17-date American tour beginning September 11 in San Diego, CA. The tour ends with a two-night celebration at Brooklyn Steel in Brooklyn, NY on October 4 and 5.

Summertime is the best time to transport yourself into a nostalgic world as Freeform celebrates “30 Days of Disney” with legendary Disney films starting June 1. The producer Larry Klein honored the memory of Leonard Cohen with a 2022 tribute album that had a hushed sensibility and taste, as well as an impressive array of vocalists. Hoping to continue that feel, he began work on an equally fine performance version with the same title, “This is Now: A Tribute to Leonard Cohen,” which played two nights with the National Symphony Orchestra at the Kennedy Center over the weekend.

New additions to the summer schedule are the legendary trio Boyz II Men, Phish frontman and guitarist Trey Anastasio, and adventurous alt-rock singer-songwriter Beck. Both Anastasio and Beck will perform with the Boston Pops. All three concerts will begin at 7 p.m.
