Award-winning French actor Tahar Rahim (The Looming Tower, A Prophet, The Eddy) will star as Charles Sobhraj in the brand new drama series The Serpent, based on the astonishing true story of how one of the most elusive criminals of the 20th century was caught and brought to trial.

Izen and Koepfinger's 'Eve of Beltane' tells the oh so familiar tale of forbidden love and examines the very fabric of its nature. Beyond time, beyond space, we find that divine love can penetrate all boundaries - race, nation, and class. This timeless drama features the music and lyrics of Joe Izen with Henry Aronson as Musical Director. Cailin Heffernan will direct. Production Stage Management is by Byron C. Saunders.

​​​​​​​On Monday (July 8) at 9 p.m. ET, GOLF Channel will debut its next GOLF Films project, Tom at Turnberry, commemorating the 10-year anniversary of Tom Watson's inconceivable run (at age 59) at winning The 2009 Open. The French Institute Alliance Fran aise (FIAF), New York's premier French cultural and language center, today announced the 2019 Crossing the Line Festival, featuring 11 performances and a gallery exhibition from a geographically, generationally, and artistically diverse group of artists whose work transcends genres and boundaries. All performances are world, US, or New York premieres; they are united by their convention-breaking fearlessness as they confront topics from social injustice to personal demons. Many of the performances pay homage to legendary artists of our time and previous eras, while the theme of migration and its transformational effects on identity informs several others. City Theatre is excited to announce the details of The Bash, a benefit evening for the South Side theatre company, entering its 45th season. The Bash is taking over Bingham Street for a block party like no other. BWW Review: CHICAGO at Musical Theatre Southwest

Film buff and Long Beach native Iris Rose returns to The Found Theatre after 39 years with her cabaret performance, 'The Siren Song of the Silver Screen,' which combines her love of cinema with her ear for great songs. Genres represented range from cult films to kids' classics, from Bond flicks to horror movies. Iris will be joined by special guests Jeff Paul on additional vocals and Jeanne Gallo performing a tribute to silent films.

Singer/Songwriter/Producer Joseph Lorenzo has released a new version of 'Mr. Melody', the 1976 hit by Natalie Cole for St. Patrick's Day. It is also the 100th anniversary of her Dad, Nat King Cole, who was born on March 17, 1919.

 Lotus Music & Dance will celebrate its 30th Anniversary in 2019 with a benefit dinner and performance on Monday, March 25th. This year also marks the 100th Birth Anniversary of bharata natyam dance guru, T. Balasaraswati ("Bala"). They will honor legendary choreographer, George Faison with the inaugural Bala Award for Excellence . Other Honorees include Manhattan Borough President, Gale Brewer for her support of cultural diversity in the performing arts.

XYZ Films and Starburns Industries announces today that they will produce the biographical documentary WELCOME TO MY DAYDREAM, about the stop-motion animation pioneer Will Vinton. The film will be directed by Marq Evans, and produced by XYZ Films and Starburns Industries, with XYZ handling worldwide sales for the project.

Cannery Casino Hotel will bring a variety of highly-acclaimed entertainers to The Club in April, including Hollywood's Greatest Game Shows, featuring legendary game show host Bob Eubanks, rap stars Coolio, Tone Loc and Young MC, as well as progressive rock artist Jon Anderson of Yes.  April entertainment will also feature free live entertainment at Pin-Ups Bar and Victory's Bar & Grill all month long.
