Mayo Performing Arts Center will launch the new year with a schedule that includes CHICAGO, A BRONX TALE starring Chazz Palminteri, and RENT IN CONCERT.

The award-winning choir brings their all-new concert, PEACE, to Queens as part of their 60-City North American Tour. The inspirational concert also features spirited music by Aretha Franklin, Harry Belafonte, Peter Gabriel, Kate Bush, Leonard Cohen, and more.

Six teenagers are killed in a freak rollercoaster accident and find themselves in a competition in which they must sing a song to prove that they are the person that should be brought back to life by a mysterious fortune-telling machine. Quite the wild tale, no? But that’s only the beginning of Ride The Cyclone. The show, created by Jacob Richmond and Brooke Maxwell in Canada in 2009, has been given a run in London, directed and choreographed by Lizzi Gee.

Due to popular demand, Steppenwolf Theatre Company’s highly-anticipated production of Amadeus has added two additional weeks of performances.

 Look At Me Now features a vibrant mix of pop and Broadway hits, backed by a three piece band led by Ike Reeves on piano, with Sean Conly on bass and Ray Marchica on drums. Directed by Geoff Stoner.

Next week, 54 Below will present some of the brightest stars from Broadway, cabaret, jazz, and beyond, including Melissa Errico, Sondheim Unplugged: The Final Season and more.

We had the opportunity to talk with both Spirling and Streeter about their first season at the theatre. We discussed what made each of them want to join Stratford East, some of their favourite shows they’ve seen at the venue and all about about the upcoming season!
