NextStop Theatre Company has announced their tenth professional season of theater in Northern Virginia. The company's first full season since the start of the pandemic will feature a wide assortment of titles ranging from beloved classics to bold new area premieres.

TheatreWorks Silicon Valley announced its 52nd season, featuring six plays and musicals to be presented November 2022 through August 2023. Three of the season's productions will be mounted at the Mountain View Center for the Performing Arts, and three will be staged at Palo Alto's Lucie Stern Theatre. Singer-songwriter Mariel Buckley is releasing a new single “Driving Around” via streaming platforms and as a live, full-band performance via YouTube. Buckley previously announced her forthcoming album Everywhere I Used to Be, out next month via Birthday Cake Records, along with a lead single “Shooting at the Moon.”

Alternative mainstay Mayday Parade have shared their new single “Losing My Mind,” ahead of the band’s self-titled 11-year anniversary UK tour which starts May 31 in Nottingham. The track, produced by multi-Platinum music producers Zack Odom & Kenneth Mount, is an outtake from the band’s 2021 studio album What It Means To Fall Apart.

A collaboration between The Bushnell Center for the Performing Arts, Connecticut Historical Society (CHS), and the Wadsworth Atheneum Museum of Art will bring a summer of revolutionary experiences to Hartford, providing varying perspectives on the era of the American Revolution and its contemporary retelling through the prism of the award-winning musical Hamilton.

International singing sensation and tenor Alfie Boe is to headline a special Last Night of The Proms concert in his home county of Lancashire. Taking place in the grounds of Lancashire's historic Lytham Hall on Sunday August 28, the exclusive show will see Fleetwood-born Alfie perform alongside a full orchestra while the concert will be opened by special guest and fellow Broadway and West End star John Owen-Jones.

Yale Repertory Theatre will conclude its 2022 season with Between Two Knees. The play, written by the intertribal sketch comedy troupe The 1491s and directed by Eric Ting, is presented with Oregon Shakespeare Festival. Between Two Knees will be performed May 12–June 4 at Yale Repertory Theatre (1120 Chapel Street).
