The University of Cincinnati College-Conservatory of Music celebrates the 50th anniversary of its legendary Musical Theatre program with a Birthday Cabaret at 6 p.m. on Sunday, Sept. 16, 2018 in Patricia Corbett Theater. Featuring the program's first graduate Pamela Myers, our newest stars of tomorrow and star performers from Broadway and beyond, the Birthday Cabaret promises to be a tuneful and invigorating tribute to 50 years of CCM Musical Theatre excellence.

Based on Emile Ardolino's 1992 film of the same name, Sister Act follows disco diva Deloris Van Cartier as she is put in protective custody after witnessing a murder. Not only that, but she is hidden in the one place that the cops are sure she won't be found, a convent. While struggling through the restrictions of her new lifestyle, Deloris uses her unique disco moves and singing talent to inspire the choir, but in doing so, she jeopardizes her cover.

Bedlam Artistic Director Eric Tucker will direct a reading of Michael Raver's new political drama, Evening on September 24th. The piece will feature Roberta Maxwell (Brokeback Mountain, Lincoln Center's Our Town), Michael Potts (The Book of Mormon, Jitney, The Iceman Cometh) Jack Wetherall (Queer as Folk, Skintight), Vince Nappo (Reign, TFANA's The Merchant of Venice), Kelley Curran (Sense and Sensibility, TFANA's The Winter's Tale) and Michael Raver (The Persians, Death Comes for The War Poets).

Single tickets for the North Charleston POPS! 2018-2019 season concerts will go on sale Monday, August 13 at 10 AM. The 2018-2019 season features something for everyone. The recently announced concerts include: PHANTOM, PANDOLFI & BEYOND on Saturday, September 8; COUNTRY LEGENDS on Saturday, November 3; GLORIOUS GERSHWIN! The cast is announced today for the European premiere of Jordan Seavey's Homos, or Everyone in America at the Finborough Theatre. The Off-Broadway musical, A Letter to Harvey Milk, released its digital cast album on May 22 in honor of Harvey Milk's birthday, it is available now, in stores at a date TBA.

After auditioning performers in New York City, Los Angeles and Sacramento, Broadway Sacramento has confirmed casting for the six shows in the 68th Broadway At Music Circus season. The casts include a number of Broadway veterans-some of whom are making their Broadway At Music Circus debuts-and audience favorites from previous Broadway At Music Circus productions.

On September 20, Peter Joback's show 'Med Hjartaat Insats' (With the heart at stake) has premiere at Circus in Stockholm. It has now been revealed the seven people who will create magic together with Peter in the 'circusmanegen' this fall. Peter himself has chosen his dream cast that will complement him in this pop theater. It is a multi-faceted ensemble with seven colorful artists, where everyone has something unique to add to the show. Let us introduce Marianne Morck, Jens Hulten, Elin Konig Andersson, Gunilla Backman, Frida Öhrn, Karl Noremo and Daniel Mauricio.
