The Westfield Athenaeum will present a three-concert chamber music series, beginning Thursday, March 10, at 7PM, with Musicians of the Springfield Symphony Orchestra, known as MOSSO, providing the music. MOSSO violinist Beth Welty is bringing her ensemble, The Aryaloka Quartet to the Athenaeum to kick off the series. Guy McLain, Executive Director of the Westfield Athenaeum, will offer a pre-performance talk at 6PM, which is free to ticket holders.

Most recently, Moreno co-stars and is an Executive Producer of the Steven Spielberg remake of the classic, West Side Story, which released worldwide this past December. Moreno won an Oscar for her performance as Anita in the original film.

Following breaking box office records in Bath, Richmond, Chichester and Cambridge, Theatre Royal Bath Productions and Moss Empires have announced 2022 tour dates for The Nigel Havers Theatre Company production of Noel Coward’s PRIVATE LIVES. This is the inaugural show for The Nigel Havers Theatre Company, which will be touring the country with a line-up of theatrical gems. The New York Philharmonic will celebrate the Lunar New Year, welcoming the Year of the Tiger with a Concert and Gala on Tuesday, February 8, 2022, at Alice Tully Hall. Earl Lee (in his New York Philharmonic debut) leads a program that includes Li Huanzhi's Spring Festival Overture; Bizet's Carmen Fantasie and Ma Sicong's Nostalgia with violinist Stella Chen as soloist (debut); Berlioz's Le Corsaire Overture; Dvořák's Song to the Moon from Rusalka, The Bird Song, and Geung-soo Lim's As spring comes across the river with soprano Hera Hyesang Park as soloist; and Dukas's The Sorcerer's Apprentice. The evening continues an annual New York Philharmonic tradition that began in 2012.

Producer Jeffrey Seller has announced that the Los Angeles production of HAMILTON will conclude its more than 6-month engagement at Hollywood Pantages Theatre on Sunday, March 20, 2022. Performances began on Tuesday, August 17, 2021; this was the second HAMILTON production in the world to reopen after the start of the COVID-19 pandemic.
