Syracuse Stage has announced casting for the world premiere of How to Dance in Ohio, a new musical inspired by Alexandra Shiva’s Peabody Award-winning documentary of the same name. How to Dance in Ohio’s fourteen-member cast includes Tony Award-winning RENT star Wilson Jermaine Heredia, Broadway veterans, and seven autistic actors. Learn all about the production here!

The full cast has been announced to join West End stars Carrie Hope Fletcher and Laura Pitt-Pulford in a special one-off concert of THE WITCHES OF EASTWICK at the Sondheim Theatre on Monday 20 June 2022, directed by Olivier Award-winning Maria Friedman.

Theater for the New City will present its world premiere December 23, 2021 to January 9, 2022, directed by Reed's frequent collaborator, Carla Blank.

Zendaya, Sian Heder, Hannah Einbinder, and Ashley Levinson will also be honored with the Crystal Award this year.

Full casting has been announced to join previously the previously revealed Ben Gerrard for the return of acclaimed American Psycho – The Musical. After a sell-out season at the Hayes Theatre Co which won nine 2019 Sydney Theatre Awards, American Psycho - The Musical will be presented in the Sydney Opera House’s Playhouse from 3 - 27 June, 2021.

March 27 marks World Theatre Day! Although we can't be together to celebrate, we can still reminisce on the fun of theatre in our lives.

This week, Through our Women in Theatre Through the Decades features, we are be highlighting the impact of women in theatre such as Sutton Foster, Kelli O'Hara, Kathleen Marshall, Lynn Nottage and more!

The criteria are that these shows have been nominated for Best Musical from the 3rd Tony Awards (the ceremony that started the Best Musical category) in 1949 to the nominations of what will now be the 74th Tony Awards in 2021. I will be determining their signs based upon their Broadway premiere date. With those rules in mind, here we go!
